‘One Battle After Another’ sets record with 7 SAG Awards nominations

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another made history Wednesday with seven Actor Awards nominations, breaking the ceremony’s previous record. The film earned bids for cast ensemble, stunt ensemble, and five individual acting categories including Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Teyana Taylor. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners followed with five nominations, tying for second-most in SAG history. The films will compete for ensemble alongside Frankenstein, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme. Apple’s The Studio topped television with five nominations including Seth Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Kathryn Hahn, and Catherine O’Hara.
