Casting for a Cause fishing derby to raise money for Alzheimer Society of B.C

KAMLOOPS — Anglers in the Kamloops-area will be aiming to raise money for the fight against Alzheimer’s disease next weekend.

The second annual Casting for a Cause fishing derby will run from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. next Saturday, June 14, at Bruker Marina in Tobiano on Kamloops Lake, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer Society of B.C.

Measuring sticks and gift bags will be doled out at the kickoff party, which will get underway at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at Match Eatery and Public House in Kamloops.
