KAMLOOPS — They’re in the middle of what is likely their most gruelling stretch of schedule and the Kamloops Blazers are looking to snap a four-game losing skid on Thursday (Oct. 17) against the Winterhawks in Portland.

There is some positive news on the injury front. Defenceman Ryan Michael and forward Kai Matthew could return to the lineup by next week.

Meanwhile, European import Vit Zahejsky is out of his cast, but is expected to miss three or four more weeks as he recovers from a broken ankle.
