Home show shines a light on Kamloops local businesses
KAMLOOPS — Plenty of activities are happening in Kamloops this weekend with one of them being the Kamloops fall home show.
On Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 5 & 6), Sandman Centre will welcome thousands of residents and more than 178 exhibitors showing off the newest trends, products and services in home improvement. The home show is also celebrating its 25th anniversary of bringing local businesses and people together.
The event is free for anyone to attend and starts at ten in the morning. Even if you’re not a home owner there are still plenty of attractions you’re encouraged to check out.
“This event, we’ll probably generate in the vicinity of $10 million worth of business that’ll be done over the next 12 months,” manager Jim Rice of BC Home Shows told CFJC Today. “It adds to the economic growth of our community and brings consumers together with local business people. That’s a good combination.”
