Emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital to be temporarily closed overnight

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — An emergency department in the Cariboo will be closed overnight Sunday (Aug. 11).
In a news release late Sunday afternoon, Interior Health says the emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be temporarily closed from 7:00 p.m. Sunday to 7:00 a.m. Monday due to “limited nurse availability.”
Patients in 100 Mile House and area are asked to dial 9-1-1 or visit the emergency departments at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre in Lillooet or Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. The emergency department at Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt is also temporarily closed until 7:00 a.m. Monday
