Nicola Valley Hospital’s ER closed overnight Sunday

MERRITT, B.C. — Interior Health has announced an overnight closure at the Nicola Valley Hospital’s emergency room beginning at 7:00 p.m. due to limited nurse availability.

The emergency department is expected to re-open at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning (Aug 12).

Patients are advised to travel to Kamloops and Royal Inland Hospital for emergency care or dail 911.
