KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP have released stock images in a press release of a grey, 2000s-model Honda Civic that may be connected to the shooting that took place on Monday near the Ramada Inn in Sahali.

“The circumstances surrounding how the vehicle ended up abandoned are suspicious for reasons that are part of the ongoing investigation,” Staff Sgt. Todd Wiebe of the Kamloops RCMP detachment’s Investigative Services said in the press release.

“We are releasing stock images of an older model grey Honda Civic in the hope that the public can help us establish a timeline on its movements.”

On Monday (May 6) at about 7:00 p.m., a vehicle described as a silver car was observed fleeing the area of the shooting, outside the Ramada Inn near Pemberton Terrace and Columbia Street West.

A grey Honda Civic was located abandoned at about 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday on Ord Road and has been seized by police as part of the ongoing investigation.
