Toledo honoured in home finale, Cougars crush Blazers
KAMLOOPS — Colin (Toledo) Robinson said an emotional goodbye to fans of the Kamloops Blazers prior to their game against the Prince George Cougars on Friday (March 22) at Sandman Centre.
The pre-game ceremony, which included the team handing out its annual awards and a sendoff for graduating players, was followed by a lopsided contest, with the Cats clawing the Blazers 9-2.
Jordan Keller and Emmitt Finnie scored for the Blazers, whose goaltenders, Jesse Sanche and Logan Edmonstone, split time between the pipes.
Thirteen Cougars reached the scoresheet.
