Rivers FC to kick off season April 27; aim to make playoffs for the first time

KAMLOOPS — Open wide for some soccer.

Rivers FC, Kamloops’ men’s and women’s semi-pro soccer club competing in League1BC, announced its schedule for its third season in 2024.

Both Rivers FC squads are looking to make the League1BC playoffs for the first time in club history. Last season, the men finished sixth in the table with four wins, six losses and four draws, while the women finished eighth with one win and 13 losses.

Each of the eight League1BC clubs are scheduled to play one another twice in 2024: one at home and one away.

Rivers FC kicks off their 2024 campaign at Hillside Stadium on April 27 against Altitude FC from North Vancouver. The full schedule is:
