Storm push Eagles to brink of elimination

KAMLOOPS – Braycen Dube registered a hat-trick for the Kamloops Storm in a 6-1 victory over the Sicamous Eagles in post-season Kootenay International Junior Hockey League action on Friday (March 1) on McArthur Island.
The Storm have a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven Round 1 series, with Game 6 slated for Saturday (March 2) in Sicamous.
A crowd of nearly 800 gathered to watch the game on Friday.
Brendan Green, Evan Douglas and Keenan Conn also lit the lamp for the Storm in the blowout triumph that saw the home team record five consecutive goals before Josh Missfeldt scored for the Eagles.
