KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops teen who has become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to fundraising has done it again.
Cassie McNutt, the namesake behind Cassie’s Charity Drive held each winter holiday season, has raised $123,250 for the Kamloops Hospice Association.
In a Facebook post, the family behind the charity endeavor says their campaign for the season has wrapped up, and the cuddle beds bought for Kamloops Hospice will be on their way soon. Cuddle beds are oversized hospital beds that allows people to be together during hospice care.
This year’s campaign marked the fifth annual event, and the McNutt family says they plan to continue.
