Break-in suspect steals $60 worth of chocolate, causes $1K damage in the process: Kamloops RCMP

KAMLOOPS — A break-in suspect got a head start on Valentine’s Day shopping over the weekend, albeit illegally.
Kamloops RCMP say officers responded to a break-in at a business on the 700-block of Victoria Street in downtown Kamloops at around 10:40 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 4).
A suspect wearing dark clothing and a backpack smashed a window, stole some chocolates and damaged other items in the store. Police say the suspect took nearly $60 in chocolate after causing $1,000 worth of damage.
Anyone who witnessed the reported break-in or captured video that could be related is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
