WolfPack fall to UNBC Timberwolves

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers WolfPack basketball teams welcomed the UNBC Timberwolves last night (Jan. 26).
The men played a dramatic and intense game, falling 69-67 in overtime. Daniel Bost led the ‘Pack with 14 points while Denys Bachurin recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The loss was the second time this season that the team has fallen in overtime. With the result, TRU now drops to 3-10.
On the women’s side, the ‘Pack dropped a 78-69 decision. Priyanca Sundher led the team with 15 points and five rebounds, while Jocelyn Orr added 13 points. TRU knocked down 13 three-pointers to UNBC’s four, but lost the battle on the glass by a tally of 46-33.
Wolfpack and Timberwolves will be facing each other again tonight, inside TCC.
