Wanted man from Williams Lake considered dangerous; has ties in Kamloops and Merritt: RCMP

KAMLOOPS — Officers are searching for a wanted man from Williams Lake who has ties in Kamloops, Kelowna and Merritt.

In a news release issued Wednesday (Jan. 17) morning, RCMP say 23-year-old Sem Weiss is wanted on an unendorsed warrant. He’s accused of assault, aggravated assault and break and enter stemming from an incident in Williams Lake on Sunday (Jan. 14).

Weiss is described as a white man with red hair, a thin build and green eyes. Police say he’s considered violent and a danger to the public, and anyone who spots him should call 9-1-1 and not approach him.
