Storm fall to Chase Heat on home ice

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm welcomed the Chase Heat yesterday (Jan. 13) in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, but lost 2-1.
All the scoring was done in the first period, with Jake Phillips-Watts having the lone goal for Kamloops. Ryan Larsen and Hudson Clarke added the assists. Colton Phillips-Watts faced 29 shots in the loss, while Luke Roberts faced 32 for the Heat.
The Storm will now get ready to host the 100 Mile House Wranglers next Friday (Jan. 19) at 7 p.m.
