Little Fort Ferry closing for two weeks due to maintenance

KAMLOOPS — Residents who use the Little Fort Ferry in the North Thompson are being told of a temporary closure.
Starting Wednesday (Dec. 20) at 7 a.m. and lasting until Jan. 4 at 7 a.m., DriveBC says the Little Fort Ferry will undergo required maintenance.
The ferry runs across the North Thompson River on Highway 5 between Barriere and Clearwater. According to B.C.’s Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the ferry runs from 7 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. and can carry two vehicles and 12 passengers.
