Kamloops Storm defeat Chase Heat 7-3 in a dominant performance
CHASE, B.C. — The Kamloops Storm defeated the Chase Heat for the second time in a row, in a commanding 7-3 victory at the Art Holding Memorial Arena on Saturday (Dec. 16).
The Storm took control of the game early on in the first period, with a goal from Andon Rende in the first minute and a half of play. Jake Phillips-Watts and Devin Benson would also score one each, ending the period with a partial victory of 3-1.
Kamloops would dominate for the remaining periods, scoring two goals in each one. Devin Benson would score his second of the game in the second period, with Teghan Mullin, Ty Horner and John Spraggs tallying a goal each to end the game with a score of 7-3.
