North Thompson expected to see 15 cm of snow: Environment Canada
CLEARWATER, B.C. — A snowfall warning is in effect for the North Thompson region.
Environment Canada says around 15 centimetres of snow is expected for the North Thompson from Wednesday (Dec. 13) night until Thursday morning. Snow is expected to taper off late Thursday.
It’s due to a frontal system that will cross the southern part of B.C. Wednesday night and bring heavy snow to the North Columbia and North Thompson.
Additionally, for drivers heading east of Kamloops, a snowfall warning of nearly 15 centimetres is also expected for the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass during the same timeframe.
