Kamloops Storm take the win at McArthur Island, beating Golden Rockets 3-2

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm defeated the Golden Rockets in a tight game on Saturday (Dec. 2) evening.

Ryan Larsen, Evan Douglas and Teghan Mullin scored for the Storm.

Both teams would tie 1-1 by the end of the first period, with Larsen scoring a goal for Kamloops and extending his point-scoring streak to eight games.

The Storm and Rockets would both score in the second period, however, Mullin would score a late power play goal to seal the deal at McArthur Island.

Storm goalie, Dawson Holitzki, made 25 saves of 27 shots on net, whilst Rockets goalie, Alex Jessey, made 34 saves of 37 shots on goal.
