TNRD Board to consider supporting Kamloops Search and Rescue in search for a new home
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR) needs a new home. They have for quite some time with their current building bursting at the seams, and only 13 months before they need to vacate their current space.
That has led the leadership of KSAR to tackle two problems at once, the short-term issue of finding a new home, and the long-term goal of building a proper Search and Rescue Hall in Kamloops.
On Thursday, KSAR representatives will make a presentation to the Thompson Nicola Regional District Board of Directors to outline their challenges.
