City Gardens tower in downtown Kamloops expected to reach 248 feet above the road in six months
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents can expect the skyline of the city’s downtown to change over the next few months.
In a news release issued Monday (Nov. 6) morning, Kelson Group, the company building the 525-unit City Gardens apartment complex, says the 24-story Trillium tower portion of the project will grow from 52 feet above the road to 248 feet in six months.
It comes as the sixth-floor concrete slab has been poured.
“Every eight or nine days, the plan is that we’re going to be adding a floor to the tower up to the complete 24 storeys, which means that by the spring of next year, Trillium will have reached its final height,” Jason Fawcett, Kelson Group president says.
