RCMP seize weapons from Westsyde home Wednesday
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a police presence at a Westsyde property Wednesday morning (Nov. 1) was prompted by a weapons raid on a home.
In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says officers were initially called to a home in the 500-block of Dairy Road on October 23. Along with Conservation Officers, Mounties responded to a complaint of a person shooting a wild animal within city limits.
RCMP obtained a search warrant for the possible possession of weapons and executed the warrant Wednesday morning.
