Kamloops Blazers fall to Winterhawks
Oct 14, 2023 | 9:22 AM
PORTLAND, OR — It wasn’t the best Friday night for the Kamloops Blazers when they visited the Portland Winterhowks yesterday (Oct. 13).
Nathan Behm scored in less than 1 minute of the game, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory. The home team responded well and James Stefan lead the Winterhowks to a 4-1 win, with one goal and one assist.
Jan Spunar stopped 27 Kamloops shots, while the Blazers Jesse Sanche faced 50 Winterhowks shots.
The Blazers are now in Kennewick, where they will face the Tri-City Americans later tonight.
