WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Williams Lake have made an arrest after a rash of theft incidents.

In a news release, RCMP say a woman was arrested last Sunday (Oct. 8) after she was allegedly caught in the act of breaking into several vehicles. Police say the woman was breaching her probation conditions at the time.

Kayla Stratton, 25, is facing five charges, including theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. She was held in custody for court before being released three days later.

A little over 24 hours after her release, Stratton was arrested again. RCMP say she was caught shoplifting and, once again, breaching her probation.
