Second raid in six months yields more stolen goods from Williams Lake motel
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Mounties were back at a Williams Lake motel last week — less than six months after their last raid of the property.
In a news release issued Thursday (Oct. 12), RCMP say they carried out a search warrant on Oct. 2 at the Slumber Lodge on Seventh Avenue South.
Inside, they found illicit drugs, cash, and ammunition.
In addition, Mounties found thousands of dollars of stolen goods, including DeWalt, Makita and Milwaukee tools, several laptops and tablets, sporting equipment and hardware.
