Everett posts shutout win over Kamloops Blazers

EVERETT, WASHINGTON — Teague Patton had a goal and two assists to lead the Everett Silvertips to a 5 – 0 victory over the Kamloops Blazers Saturday (Sept. 30) night in Everett.
Patton opened the scoring in the first period on a breakaway, stuffing the puck past Dylan Ernst in the Blazers net. Then he set up Beau Courtney’s first goal of the season later in the first period. He also had a hand in the Silvertips 3rd goal in the second period.
Ethan Chadwick stopped 24 Kamloops shots to post the shutout for Everett. Ernst faced 36 Everett shots.
Everett was 2 for 6 on the powerplay while the Blazers went 0 for 3 with the man advantage.
