Logan Lake school shelters in place as RCMP track down treatment centre runaway
LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Logan Lake corralled a man trying to flee the Vision Quest treatment facility Thursday morning (Sept. 28).
In a news release, B.C. RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy says officers were called at about 11:00 a.m. concerning a 37-year-old man who was under conditions to stay at Vision Quest.
Responding officers located the man not far away, but he ran and hurdled a fence, causing officers to lose sight of him.
A police dog helped officers track the man down trying to hide in an out building.
