KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops man accused of killing a TRU employee in 2022 has been released on bail.

Rogelio ‘Butch’ Bagabuyo is charged with first-degree murder in the March 2022 killing of 60-year-old Mohd Abdullah.

The former Kamloops lawyer was initially charged with committing an indignity to a dead body, but that charge was dropped when Bagabuyo was charged with murder in May.

Bagabuyo’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 24.
