Police believe the same man is behind two robberies this morning in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — RCMP are searching for a man who is suspected of being behind a pair of early morning robberies in Kamloops Wednesday (Mar .15).
Mounties say the first robbery was reported around 2:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 900-block of Columbia Street. The suspect demanded cash and made off on foot, heading north.
About three hours late, a suspect entered a retail business in the 1500-block of Summit Drive and made off with cash. Mounties believe the suspect could be associated with a small black car that was spotted headed north on Summit Drive after the second robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years of age, 6-feet tall and 200 lbs. He was wearing a black New Balance jacket or hoodie, with blue pants and black shoes. He wore a black mask during the crimes.
