Blazers’ Masters signs entry-level deal with Minnesota Wild

KAMLOOPS — Yet another Kamloops Blazer has signed a pro contract.

The Minnesota Wild have announced the signing of 19-year-old defenceman Kyle Masters to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The Wild drafted Masters in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

The Blazers acquired Masters from Red Deer before the 2022-23 season, along with a first round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft, in exchange for defenceman Mats Lindgren.
