Stankoven extends point streak to 32 games, Blazers defeat Giants 4-2
KAMLOOPS — Just 24 hours after their win over the Prince Albert Raiders at Sandman Centre, the Kamloops Blazers got another one on the road in Langley as they defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-2 on Saturday (Feb. 4).
Blazers captain Logan Stankoven opened the scoring for the club, extending his point streak to 32 games which now holds as the longest in the WHL.
However, just over a minute later, the Giants would answer back as Dylan Anderson would get his fourth of the season to tie things at one heading into the first intermission.
The Blazers took over in the in second period, scoring two goals in 33 seconds. Ryan Hofer scored one of those two, making it his second game winner in as many games.
