Cooling off period misses mark: Kamloops real estate agent
KAMLOOPS – B.C. is the first province to implement a homebuyer protection period for resale property and newly constructed homes.
The provincial government said the new mandatory three-business day period — or cooling-off period — will give homebuyers more time to secure financing or arrange home inspections.
Effective Tuesday, home buyers will have three business days after submitting an offer on a house to cancel the sale.
