Heavy snowfall expected for North Thompson Tuesday morning
KAMLOOPS — A snowfall warning is in effect for the North Thompson region for most of Tuesday (Dec. 6).
In an online statement, Environment Canada says 10 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected for the North Thompson, along with the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass and the Yellowhead Highway from Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.
It’s due to an artic front moving across B.C. that will bring a period of heavy snow to the region.
Environment Canada says snow is expected to ease Tuesday afternoon. A snowfall warning for the Shuswap is also expected to ease at a similar time.
