RCMP release images of downtown Kamloops stabbing suspect

KAMLOOPS — RCMP have released photos of a suspect in a stabbing incident from the Kamloops downtown last week.

The incident happened early on the morning of Friday, June 3, near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Victoria Street.

The male victim was taken to hospital suffering non-life-threatening stab and slash wounds.

Suspect description:

• Male
• Dark complexion
• Short beard and shaggy hair
• Wearing a black and red hoodie and black and white Nike shoes

RCMP say the suspect was connected to a dark sedan and a woman wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and white shoes (also pictured).
