Blazers’ Stankoven named WHL Player of the Month for April

KAMLOOPS — Logan Stankoven ended off the regular season — and began the playoffs — with a bang. That offensive explosion led the WHL to name the Kamloops Blazers’ forward its Player of the Month for April.

Stankoven played 10 regular season and playoff games in April, amassing a whopping 26 points on 12 goals and 14 assists.

The 19-year-old tallied multi-point games in five of the final six regular season games, then picked up 13 points in the Blazers’ four-game first-round sweep of the Spokane Chiefs.
