Boogie the Bridge returns after two years
KAMLOOPS — Bright and early Sunday morning, thousands flocked to McDonald Park to run and walk for Kamloops’ favourite charity run: CFJC TV Boogie the Bridge.
After two years of limited in-person activities due to the pandemic, a sea of red gathered to promote health.
“This is the biggest health exercise that we do in Kamloops. You’re managing chronic heart disease, weight issues, Type 2 diabetes, but most importantly this year, it’s the mental health of the community that you’re really supporting,” said Mayor Ken Christian.
