Vehicle incident closes Highway 1 in Salmon Arm

UPDATE (7:30 a.m.): DriveBC reports Highway 1 in Salmon Arm is clear, but drivers should expect delays in the area.

EARLIER: SALMON ARM, B.C. — The Trans Canada Highway is closed in Salmon Arm to start Sunday (Feb. 20) morning.

DriveBC first reported of a vehicle incident blocking all lanes of Highway 1 at the Highway 97B junction shortly before 6 a.m.

An assessment is in progress and drivers are told to expect delays.
