B.C. almost done at Brier

KAMLOOPS — It’s all over but the shouting for B.C.’s rink at the Brier. Steve Laycock’s rink, with Jim Cotter throwing third rocks, gave up 2 in the 10th last night, losing a tough 4-3 decision to Glenn Howard’s wild card rink.
That drops B.C. to 1-4 in pool A. While they’re not mathematically eliminated, they may be by the end of the day.
In Pool B, Matt Dunstone’s Saskatchewan rink is tied for second with Ontario at 4-1, just behind Kevin Koe, who is undefeated at 5-0. Dunstone now makes his home in Kamloops.
