B.C. records 1,236 new COVID-19 cases over past three days; active cases, hospitalizations down
VICTORIA — B.C. has found another 1,236 cases of COVID-19 over the past three days, but there are positive signs in the indicators of active cases and hospitalizations.
In a news conference, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 428 new cases Saturday (Feb. 6), 465 on Sunday and 343 on Monday.
Henry said 152 of the weekend cases were found within Interior Health.
The new cases bring B.C.’s total to 70,952, spread through the province as follows:
