Another 465 cases of COVID-19 in B.C. Thursday; 54 in Interior Health

VICTORIA — B.C. has found 465 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday (Feb. 4), including 54 within Interior Health.

The 465 cases bring the B.C. total to 69,245, spread out as follows:

  • 15,934 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 98)
  • 41,395 — Fraser Health (up by 234)
  • 1,754 — Island Health (up by 27)
  • 6,513 — Interior Health (up by 54)
  • 3,610 — Northern Health (up by 52)
  • 144 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)

In a prepared statement, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 4,447 active cases of the virus in B.C. Thursday, an increase of 21 from Wednesday. There are 257 patients in hospital and 76 in intensive care.
