Photographer comes across monolith in hills of Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — A global trend has found its way to Kamloops, as a local photographer came upon a monolith structure in the Bachelor Heights grasslands area this morning (Dec.13).
Matt Lazzarotto says he and his wife were hiking behind their house in the Bachelor Heights this morning and found that someone had set up a monolith on the hillside. Last month a monolith was discovered in the Utah desert, and since then they’ve became a viral trend as copy cats began installing their own structures throughout world.
“It’s interesting because it’s quite a big thing going on now,” laughs Lazzarotto, “(It’s) kind of distracting everybody from all the other stuff that’s happened.”
