Chase Heat evens record with win

CHASE – The Chase Heat opened their home schedule Saturday night with a 7-5 win over the North Okanagan Knights.
The result evened the club’s record at 1 and 1 over the first weekend of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League season. They dropped their opener to the Kamloops Storm Friday night. The Storm posted a 3 – 2 overtime win.
Kamloops will be in Armstrong Sunday afternoon to face North Okanagan. Due to COVID-19 health and safety restrictions, no fans are allowed at the games.
