Interior Health reveals businesses, dates related to Kelowna COVID-19 exposure

KELOWNA — Interior Health has released more details relating to its COVID-19 alert for Kelowna issued last Friday (July 10).

The health authority has listed two businesses and two venues as possible exposure spots.

Those who visited the following businesses on the following dates are asked to self-monitor and get tested if they experience COVID-19 symptoms:

  • Cactus Club, #1-1370 Water St., from July 3-6
  • Pace Spin Studio, #5-1717 Harvey Ave., on July 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9

People who attended gatherings at the following locations on the following dates are asked to self-isolate and monitor themselves for symptoms:

  • Discovery Bay Resort, 1088 Sunset Dr., from July 1-5
  • Boyce Gyro Beach Lodge, 3519 Laskeshore Dr., July 1

IH says it has begun contact tracing to identify those who may have been exposed.

Once again, IH reminds anyone who participated in events or attended businesses in the downtown or waterfront areas between June 25 and July 6 to monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms.
