City of Kamloops tree coupons only at stores this year

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is ready to re-launch its Tree Coupon Program for 2020.

With a goal of growing the city’s tree canopy from 12 per cent to 20 per cent, the City of Kamloops will hand out 500 coupons on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales begin May 1.

The coupons carry a value of either $20 or $50, depending on what kind of tree you are buying.

This year, due to COVID-19-related restrictions, the coupons will only be available at stores — not City of Kamloops facilities.
