Avril Lavigne Drops Warriors in Support

Avril Lavigne re-recorded and re-named her 2019 Head Above Water track “Warriors” into “We Are Warriors” with proceeds going to help out with pandemic relief efforts.

“I felt the need to do something to honor all of the frontline workers who risk their lives every day to keep us safe. From the doctors, nurses, police, fire fighters, grocery workers, delivery services, all essential workers and the brave volunteers,” Avril said. “You guys are the ones that are holding the world up right now and we’re all counting on you and relying on you,” Avril continued. “You are Warriors! All net profits from “We Are Warriors” will be going to Project Hope’s relief efforts.
