Alanis Morissette has released a new song from her upcoming album Such Pretty Forks in the Road titled “Diagnosis.”

The track is about stigmas surrounding depression and other forms of mental illness in the song, specifically post partum depression. “I’ve not left the house in a while/I’ve not felt a glimpse of ease/And I have not made much headway/Since I have come back from the war,” she sings.

Such Pretty Forks in the Road also includes the tracks “Reasons I Drink” and “Smiling.” The album was supposed to be released May 1st but has been pushed back to a later date.

Morissette previously announced a North American summer tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her album Jagged Little Pill which would start in June, however, concert dates may change due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
