JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT FILM, ‘HAPPINESS CONTINUES,’ DEBUTS ON AMAZON PRIME: The Jonas Brothers‘ new concert film, Happiness Continues, debuted on Amazon Prime Video at midnight. The doc includes footage from their recent Happiness Begins tour. The JoBros had to cancel their planned Las Vegas residency this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their previous Amazon Prime documentary about their break-up and reunion, Chasing Happiness, debuted last year.

SHAKIRA GRADUATES FROM UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY COURSE WHILE IN QUARANTINE: Shakira used her time in quarantine to learn something new. The 43-year-old singer revealed that she’s graduated from her University of Pennsylvania Ancient Philosophy course in a message on Twitter. “I just graduated from my 4 week Ancient Philosophy course with the University of Pennsylvania (@Penn). I know… my hobbies are very impractical, but it took a lot of hours after the kids were asleep. Thank you Plato and predecessors for all the ‘fun’ over the past month!” Shakira tweeted.

ARIANA GRANDE TO PERFORM IN COMPOSER JASON ROBERT BROWN’S VIRTUAL RESIDENCY CONCERT: Ariana Grande and Waitress Broadway star Shoshana Bean are set to appear in Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown’s Artist-in-Residency concert virtually on April 27th. The concert will be free to watch on Facebook and Vimeo, but donations are encouraged to assist the SubCulture staff and musicians amid the global health crisis. Ariana got her big break at age 15 when she starred in Jason’s Broadway musical “13.”

MACHINE GUN KELLY COVERS RIHANNA’S ‘LOVE ON THE BRAIN’ BY MARILYN MANSON’S REQUEST: Machine Gun Kelly, who has been recording covers amid the global health crisis, has released his version of Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain.” For Day 21 of his cover series, dubbed the “Lockdown Sessions,” he took a Facetime call with Marilyn Manson, who made the surprising request. “Love on the Brain” follows previous “Lockdown Sessions,” including a cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business” with Travis Barker, a freestyle rap on Jack Harlow’s “What’s Poppin'” and a Yungblud collab performing Oasis’ “Champagne Supernova.”
