Kamloops Army Cadets find another way to help their community

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Army Cadets, benched by COVID-19 restrictions, have decided on another way to lend a helping hand.
According to an email from Commanding Officer Cpt. Christine Stilborn, the cadets regularly participate in a number of volunteer endeavours, including the twice-annual Rotary Food Drives that benefit the Kamloops Food Bank.
This year’s restrictions prevented the cadets from helping out.
Instead, the group has decided to hold a raffle. Proceeds support both the cadets and the food bank.
