KAMLOOPS — October 9, 1992 the Blazers christened the new Riverside Coliseum.
It was more like a baptism by fire — an 8-2 loss to the Portland Winterhawks.
Three days later, on the afternoon of October 12, 1992, Thanksgiving Day, the Blazers took on the Spokane Chiefs, and picked up their first win in their new home rink.
