VIDEO: Dashcam shows frightening moment van careened toward North Shore home Monday

KAMLOOPS — Dashcam video submitted to CFJC Today sheds more light on an alarming North Shore crash Monday (Apr. 6).

Around 12:00 noon, the driver of a van suffered a medical event while driving near the intersection of Twelfth Street and Lethbridge Avenue, causing the van to speed through a fence and into a home.

The video, submitted anonymously, shows the van stopping briefly at the intersection before accelerating quickly toward a row of homes.

RCMP said the driver was taken to Royal Inland Hospital for treatment. A passenger and two people in the home were unhurt.
